Back to School: 12 rural North Texas districts welcome back students

DALLAS - Summer vacation is over for more North Texas students as they head back to class.

Twelve districts in mostly rural areas are welcoming students back on Thursday.

Some of those districts include Alvarado, Valley View, and Van ISDs.

By this point, nearly all kids in North Texas have had their first day of school.

A handful of districts start on Monday, and five more start next Wednesday.
