ARLINGTON, Texas - A suspect in a chase out of Dallas County was able to run into AT&T Stadium in Arlington on Thursday before he was arrested.
The Dallas County Sheriff's Office said they received a call around 4:30 p.m. from someone in a black Lexus with a handgun in his lap, who allegedly said he had thoughts of "suicide by cop."
When police responded to the person on Commerce Street in Dallas the car took off.
The car eventually went down I-30 when deputies terminated their pursuit. As deputies began to turn around, they saw the driver, who had a flat tire, pull into the parking lot of AT&T Stadium.
He then got out of his car while clutching his waistband, according to deputies.
Police say the suspect ran into the stadium for a brief time before exiting again.
Arlington police officers and Dallas County sheriff's deputies were able to arrest the man.

Cowboys owner Jerry Jones is planning to spend close to $300 million to upgrade AT&T Stadium in Arlington ahead of the FIFA World Cup in four years.
No shots were fired and nobody was injured.
A 9MM handgun was found inside AT&T Stadium by officers.
Deputies later identified the suspect as David Reys, he had an active probation violation warrant for possession of a controlled substance.
He is also facing felony evading arrest or detention with a vehicle and unlawfully carrying a weapon with a felony conviciton.
