Arlington police looking for suspect in fatal parking lot stabbing
ARLINGTON, Texas - Police are investigating the stabbing death of a man in the parking lot of a shopping center in Arlington.
The victim, a 25-year-old Arkansas man named Dustin McGee, died early Sunday morning.
He was stabbed in the chest in the parking lot of the Lincoln Square shopping center near Interstate 30 and North Collins Street.
Police said at the time the parking lot was filled with people leaving area bars and restaurants.
McGee and another driver apparently began yelling and honking their horns at each other. They both parked their cars and got into an argument.
McGee was rushed to the hospital with stab wounds, but by the time he got there it was too late.
Police only have a vague description of the suspect, but his car stands out. It was a late model or early 2000s silver Grand Marquis or Ford Crown Victoria with a blue vinyl roof and wire rims that stick out. The car’s horn also sounds like a train’s horn.
“We are confident somebody will know… and know that suspect car… and so we’d like them to go. The suspect may not even be aware of the seriousness of the injuries that they caused to this individual. So we’d like to get their side of the story as well. So if they are watching, we’d ask them to contact Arlington PD,” said Lt. Christopher Cook with the Arlington Police Department.

Roderick Madden, a friend of McGee’s, met with McGee on Friday night. As usual, the two swapped stories and shared their love of cars.
“We usually ride around on the weekend with our car club and have a little fun because he loves cars,” said Madden. “That's what we love to do.”
The two were part of a local car club called the High Rollas, but Friday would be their last night together.
“We hung out that night…and thought everything was going to be okay,” said Madden.
Antwan Bell, also a friend of McGee’s, says McGee was a popular guy who always a smile on his face.
“Full of life…heart of gold…do anything for anybody,” said Bell.
