Amber Alert issued for abducted 7-year-old out of San Jacinto County

An Amber Alert has been issued for 7-year-old Hazel Hodge-Lassiter out of San Jacinto County.

According to officials, the young girl was abducted and was last seen in the 900 block of County Line Road in Shepherd, Texas around midnight on Sept. 25, 2024.

Hodge-Lassiter was reportedly last seen with her parents, 44-year-old Brandon Lassiter and 41-year-old Ashley Doss-Lassiter.

The San Jacinto Sheriff's Office reports there was an investigation ongoing with Child Protective Services that was going to court.

CPS received a court order to take custody of the child, but when authorities went to serve the warrant on Friday, the parents and child could not be found.

San Jacinto County officials report they might be in a gray 2019 Nissan Rogue with the Texas license plate MDN 6176.

Anyone with information is asked to contact San Jacinto County Sheriff's Office at 936-653-4367.
