Shooting at Dallas 7-Eleven sends 5 teens to hospitals
Dallas police are investigating a shooting at a 7-Eleven Friday night that sent five teenagers to local hospitals.
DALLAS - Dallas police are investigating a shooting at a 7-Eleven Friday night that sent five teenagers to local hospitals.
The shooting happened just after 9 p.m., near the intersection of John West Road and La Prada Drive.
Responding officers found five teenagers who had been injured in the shooting. Police said the victims were 12, 13, 14, 16, and 17 years old.

All five were taken to area hospitals with non-life threatening injuries.
Investigators said the shooter was in a vehicle and left before police arrived on scene. Police have not released any suspect description or information on the vehicle involved.
Mother of three, Treshun Bell, lives just behind the 7-Eleven. She said she heard the gunshots and ran to her back window.
"Looked out the window and saw kids running and one fall to the ground," she recalled. "Then they went to the side of the 7-Eleven, where they got help at. So it’s crazy."
A witness told FOX 4 that a group of teenagers were hanging out at the 7-Eleven right before the shooting.
Customers and employees were taking shelter inside when the gunfire started.
No further details have been released as police continue their investigation.
