3 killed in crash along I-20 in Terrell
TERRELL, Texas - Three people were killed in a head-on crash on Interstate 20 in Terrell Monday morning.
It happened around 10 a.m. on eastbound I-20 near the Wilson Road exit. Police said the driver of a red Ford pickup from Louisiana lost control while pulling a trailer.
The truck went airborne and ended up in the path of oncoming traffic. It collided with a white Chevy pickup from Texas and both trucks rolled, police said.
There were two people in the red truck and one person in the white truck. All three were killed.
Traffic is backed up on I-20 in both directions because of the accident and investigation.
Police have not yet released the names of those involved.
