100-year-old identical twins celebrate birthdays
Lafayette, LA --It's not every day you meet a hundred-year-old but how about hundred year old identical twins?
Albert and Elmer Pfeuffer celebrated their birthdays in Lafayette, Louisiana. They enjoyed cake and punch with family and friends. They were born on March 15, 1916 in Saginaw, Michigan.
Albert has lived in Lafayette with his wife since 1960, and Elmer flew in from his home in Tucson, Arizona to celebrate.
The brothers told stories and shared memories from their long lives. They tricked a teacher by going as the other to classes when they were youngsters, and shared a car when they first started driving. And get this... Albert says he's still driving.
Albert Pfeuffer says, "What's the secret to a long and fruitful life? Well, who knows? I guess just follow the path the Lord give us, and that's about it. And woke up every morning, and spent the day."
Elmer has three children, six grandchildren and four great-grandchildern. Albert has three children, seven grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
