Storms on the way, after another awesome day!

Fine fall weather for this Thursday as high clouds give way to mostly sunny skies, lighter winds and highs again in the mid to upper 70s.

Clouds roll in tonight, keeping temps mild near 60...we could even see a few showers west late tonight.

Showers/storms blossom Friday AM DFW and west, and will try to spread east during the day. They should weaken on their trip, but coverage could be as high as 80% (except far E/SE).

Friday evening and night, widespread showers/storms will blow through, some strong with very heavy rain (1-3") and possibly some flooding.

The good news is this system is a little faster, so most of the rain should exit Sat AM east (40%) and leave us just cloudy with highs low 70s. There is still a low coverage of showers (20%) possible for trick-or-treat, but in general, it looks good with temps in the 60s.

Sunday now looks even drier with clouds giving way to sun. Highs should be seasonable in the low 70s
After some early fog Monday, it's a warm week ahead with highs near 80 Mon-Tue before Gulf moisture invades with showers moving in by mid-week.
