DALLAS - There is the potential for severe weather in North Texas tonight.
FOX 4 Meteorologist Kylie Capps said there will likely be a couple of different rounds of showers and storms later this afternoon and throughout the evening hours.
The risk area for the strongest storms has shifted to the eastern half of North Texas. The atmosphere will be a little more conducive for severe weather east of Interstate 35.
However, people in the Dallas – Fort Worth area should still remain weather aware throughout the evening. Any storms that develop have a chance of becoming strong and severe.
The timing for storms in DFW still ranges from 5 to 10 p.m. Storms should be gone by midnight, leaving sunshine for Saturday.
Friday is just one of those days where people will want to stay updated with the latest forecast and stay 4-Warned.
