Maybe Some Fall Weather By Next Week...But Until Then?

No break from this BAKE...at least until next week. Then we get relief.

Today will be just like yesterday. HOT, MUGGY, BREEZY. Temps mid to upper 90s with the Heat Index OVER 100. The disturbance that produced some storms overnight is exiting eastern counties, so that is where we might see an isolated shower through noon. Otherwise, we should stay dry.

Mid 90s and muggy air again tomorrow but there is enough of a weakness in the atmosphere to produce a few PM showers...mainly SE and west of the Metroplex.

High pressure aloft builds close enough this weekend to give us dry and very warm conditions. SE winds should keep temps down a hair (more low 90s versus mid to upper 90s).

By next week, we will be watching a cold front SLOWLY heading into Texas. It's not here Monday, so we are still very warm and dry but it moves into NW counties Tuesday with some PM showers and storms and hopefully through NTX by mid-week with better rain chances and lower temps to end next week!
