Time for a COOL change? Last warm day...EVER (ok, at least in this forecast!)
It's weird out there today. HUMID and windy this morning as low clouds may produce a passing shower (esp from I-35E and east). Temps in the 60s will head well into the 70s PM and from DFW west into the low 80s as clouds break for sun. The record is 83...and we'll be close!
Tonight a strong COLD FRONT chugs in. Timing is from 8pm-2am area wide...and in the Metroplex from 9-11pm. Showers and a few storms will accompany the front...highest coverage from Dallas east.
Chilly north winds (25mph) will blow behind it dropping temps into the 40s by AM. Expect mostly cloudy skies and gusty winds to continue Tuesday. Highs only in the mid 50s.
Wednesday may be interesting for West Central Texas with some rain and sleet possible with a strong disturbance...however most of it will stay south of our area. The exception may be areas to the SW (Stephenville-Glen Rose) where some is possible. The rest of us will have clouds...with more sun for northern areas. Highs upper 50s.
Another disturbance will keep a fair amount of clouds in for Thursday, with cooler highs in mid 50s...and morning lows in the mid 30s...and freezing some areas.
By Friday, the atmosphere relaxes with more sun and upper 50s before dry 60s return this weekend.
