We finally got our TASTE of WINTER...and it turns out it may just be an APPETIZER! Weekend Warm-up on the way....
Crunchy 20s this morning will moderate to temps near 50 PM with sun and just a few PM clouds. Fortunately winds will be MUCH lighter than yesterday (5-10 mph).
It will still drop quickly after sunset, although light SW winds will keep temps closer to freezing in the morning.
Saturday will see a weak but gusty cold front drop through, however the NW winds won't be blowing off a very cold air mass in the Plains, so we should get back to "normal" highs in the upper 50s with mostly sunny skies.
By Sunday, winds switch back to the SW and moderate us into the mid to upper 60s with more sun.
Monday will be quite MILD with west winds ahead of the next cold front pushing temps above 70 now!
The next COLD FRONT, isn't all that cold Tuesday...but it will be quite breezy with highs near 60.
It's unfortunate, but next week does look DRY and seasonably mild...in the 60s. HOPING for a chance for rain by next weekend...but that's a LONG way away!
