DALLAS - North Texas could see some strong to severe storms on Thursday.
The storms are expected to make their way to our western areas around 8 a.m., move through the Metroplex from about 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and move out of our eastern counties at about 3 p.m.
The main storm risk is quarter-sized hail and possible 50 mph wind gusts.

Areas well east and southeast of Dallas, like Navarro, Van Zandt, Henderson, Freestone, Anderson counties, also have a slight tornado risk if we can get surface-based storms.
The weather should dry out later in the day.
