Dallas weather: Oct. 22 evening forecast

FOX 4 meteorologist Ali Turiano talks about the pattern change in the weather and what that means for our rain chances.

We have an active weather pattern this week in North Texas.

A few different systems are expected to impact us.

First, let's talk temperatures.

The blast of cool fall weather will disappear this week.

High temperatures will be in the low 80s for the entire work week.

Norma slams into Mexico’s southern Baja California Peninsula, lashing region with heavy rain, high winds

An elevated weather station in the hills overlooking Cabo San Lucas reported multiple wind gusts of more than 90 mph, with a peak gust of 107 mph.

There will be clouds and rain chances throughout the week, even though there probably won't be a washout.

On Monday, it is pretty much a coin flip whether you will see rain.

About 40% of people in our area will see rain on Monday. It will start in the morning with a few sprinkles and then some rain and rumbles of thunder in the afternoon.

Tuesday, the rain chances drop to 30% with much of that coverage out to the western part of North Texas.

A pretty dynamic upper-level low pressure system will provide us with showers and thunderstorms Wednesday night into Thursday morning.

The bulk of the rain will happen to the north and west.

There will even be some rain chances on Friday.

The rain chances are highest on Wednesday night into Thursday morning.

Expect it to feel humid and a bit warm for this time of year throughout the week.
