If you have to be on the roads before 10 a.m., because anything that was wet last night has iced over. Be careful, especially on roads and overpasses.
We do expect the snow and ice to melt later today.
Saturday Forecast: Cold start, temps climb
What we know:
It will be a very cold start to your Saturday.
There will be patches of ice on the roads on Saturday morning where melted snow has refrozen.
Fortunately, the sunshine will be out all day and all that leftover snow and ice will melt.
We should easily return to the mid to upper 40s with some spots in the 50s!
Sunday Forecast: Another Cold Front
What we know:
Another cold front is expected to move through North Texas on Sunday, with temperatures near freezing.
We will see some extra clouds on Sunday, but we should still see temperatures climb into the 40s later in the day.
7-Day Forecast
What we know:
Monday temperatures will start in the 20s and finish in the upper 40s with light winds.
For most the rest of the week, we will see fairly typical temperatures for this time of year.
Temperatures will rise into the 50s on Thursday and possibly into the 60s by Friday, depending on the clouds.
What we don't know:
There is a pattern shift next weekend that brings arctic air into the country, but at this point it's too early to know exactly how cold we will get and if we will get any moisture.
