Texas GOP proposes ban on care for transgender youth

New legislation from Texas Republicans would ban most gender-affirming care for transgender youth in the state. One bill proposes revoking the license of any doctor that gives Texans under 18 puberty blockers, hormone therapy, or other treatment meant to help patients transition. LGBTQ groups held a rally against the bills Thursday.
