The party started early this year for some Cowboys fans tailgating outside AT&T Stadium Wednesday. Fans are hoping to spend Thanksgiving watching the Cowboys win. There was also a party and a toy drive underway at Texas Live as fans look to give back before the game.

North Texas liquor store owners say it might appear they have plenty to choose from, but make no mistake that supply chain issues have them struggling to maintain more than ever before. The issues are leading their suppliers to raise prices, so stores raise prices on customers.

Whether driving on the road or taking a break during travel, FOX 4 asked people why they are thankful on this Thanksgiving Eve.

Unlike last year when the city received federal funds to shelter the homeless in hotels, that funding is no longer available this year, and hotel prices are higher. The city of Dallas is hoping that its new inclement weather policy will also help open the doors to the homeless all around the city rather than the concentrated services that are downtown.

Thanksgiving gatherings will be more special for many who have not been able to gather with loved ones in big groups because of the pandemic.

Facing shortages of holiday favorites, Mission Arlington is still determined to deliver 6,000 meals on Thanksgiving Day. And they’re looking for 6,000 volunteers to help them do it.
