WNBA arrives in North Texas with the Dallas Wings
Women's pro basketball is returning to North Texas.
Tulsa Shock co-owner Chris Christian and star player Skylar Diggins join Good Day Monday to talk about playing in Arlington under a new name – the Dallas Wings.
"This is an exciting time for the DFW Metroplex as women's professional basketball returns after 30 years," Christian said. "The next generation of girls and boys will now have a new team of professional athletes to cheer for and inspire by their hard work, commitment, dedication, discipline and the love of competition."
The Dallas Wings will play at the University of Texas in Arlington when the 2016 season begins in May.
