Texas Rangers fans ready for first World Series action since 2011
ARLINGTON, Texas - Fans are still on a high from the Texas Rangers blowout win over the Houston Astros on Monday night.
Many spent the day buying new World Series gear as they count down to Game 1 on Friday.
While the Rangers would have loved to clinch a bid to the World Series in front of fans in Arlington, it is safe to say the feeling was a bit sweeter doing it on the Astros home turf.

"Very much so. My voice feels a little hoarse because of last night. It was a great experience," said Rangers fan Michael Glass on Tuesday.
"It’s been many years. I was here for the 2010, 2011 seasons, and it was a crying shame we did not close the deal then. Last night was a victory for the entire town," said Scott Millett.
"I didnt go to sleep until 2am. I listened to all the interviews and replayed them," said Nancy Amos.
A few die-hard fans waited at Love Field early Tuesday for the team's charter flight to return.
Others went shopping right away for World Series merchandise.

"I got it last night at Academy. Super stoked, getting back here and hopefully winning it all this year," said Glass.
Tuesday morning, Rangers fans were still celebrating and spending money.
Rob Bunch drives people from the parking lot to Globe Life Field.
On his off day, he and his wife came to the stadium to get some new swag.
"I will keep these for the rest of my life, blessed to be out here and the first year to be right in the middle of the World Series is unbelievable," said Bunch.
The Rangers have gone 8-0 on the road this postseason.
For the first time in these playoffs, they will start a playoff series at home in Arlington.
Fans think they can go all the way.
"They don’t quit, they just keep plugging away, and they are like a family," said Amos.
