The Dallas Wings re-signed two-time WNBA All-Star Glory Johnson to a multi-year contract on Monday.
Johnson sat out last season while she was pregnant with twins.
"It means a lot," Dallas coach Fred Williams said of the signing. "She's a player who's already proven in the league. It's nice to see she wants to be back with us in Dallas."
Johnson has averaged 13.7 points, 8.3 rebounds in her career. Williams doesn't expect the long layoff to affect Johnson much.
"It's my job and the staff's job to get her ready," Williams said. "She's got a big cushion there in training camp. For me it's like having money in the bank."
