A new analysis has curiously found that the most popular fast food restaurant in Texas is In-N-Out.
The study, done by the website Business Insider and check-in app Foursquare, said lots of people go to In-N-Out even though there are only a handful of locations in the state.
The results were determined by examining which chains received the most visits on average per location based on total number of visits to each chain divided by the number of locations in that state.
The methodology and results resulted in an outcry on Twitter from Texans who love their Whataburger. The iconic Texas fast-food restaurant is in its 67th year of feeding hungry Texans. There are now more than 800 Whataburger restaurants across Texas and the southeastern United States.
The study found that Chick-fil-A was the most popular chain in most states.
