Woman killed in drunken driving crash near White Rock Lake

DALLAS - A woman is dead after an accident Thursday night near White Rock Lake in Dallas.

She was a passenger in a car that was hit as it was turning at Garland Road near Buckner Boulevard around 9 p.m.

Police believe the driver of the car had been drinking. He was arrested for intoxication manslaughter.

The people in the SUV that hit the car suffered only minor injuries.

The victim’s name has not yet been released.
