Woman arrested after brief chase in Dallas

A woman led Dallas sheriff’s deputies on a chase Friday morning.

Officials said it began as a dispute between two women near Bruton and St. Augustine roads. One woman threatened to run over the other.

Deputies got a call about the road rage incident and tried to pull the woman over just before 11 a.m. They ended up chasing her gray Ford Focus for about 15 or 20 minutes.

The chase ended in a driveway on Glenn Green Drive. The suspect hopped out of the car she was in and ran. She ran for a short time before deputies caught her.

After being treated at the scene by paramedics, she was moved into another deputy’s cruiser.

The sheriff’s department has not yet released the woman’s identity.
