Interstate 30 open again after an overnight crash involving an 18-wheeler and the HOV wall.

The crash happened around 3 a.m. A red Dodge sedan collided with a UPS 18-wheeler on eastbound I-30 near the Ferguson Curve.

The UPS truck hit the HOV wall and spilled packages onto the westbound side of the interstate. Other drivers then crashed into some of the debris.

No one was hurt but the wall was compromised in the crash and cleanup lasted through the morning rush hour. The scattered packages were all loaded into the back of a rental truck and the UPS truck was towed from the scene.

The HOV lane will remain closed until repair work can be done during off-peak hours.
