Texas Gov. Greg Abbott talks about the border at RNC
Texas Governor Greg Abbott took the stage in Milwaukee on Wednesday to show his support for former president Trump's border policies.
MILWAUKEE, Wis. - Texas Governor Greg Abbott spoke at the Republican National Convention on Wednesday night.
The theme for third night of the convention is Make America Strong Again, with speeches focusing on foreign relations and the border.
Governor Abbott focused on the state's efforts to secure the border and the legal fights with the Biden Administration.
Abbott says if President Trump is put back in office, he would restore order at the border.
"Fortunately, I see hope on the horizon, because on November 5, Joe Biden will be fired and Donald Trump will once again become the Presidnet of the United States of America," the governor said.
Abbott also criticized President Biden for reversing several Trump border policies as soon as he took office.
Abbott accompanied Donald Trump to Eagle Pass, Texas in February for an opportunity to discuss border issues.
