A family feud between T. Boone Pickens and his son came to an abrupt end on Monday when both sides came to an agreement to resolve lawsuits filed by the two men.
Michael Pickens claimed the elder Pickens breached a contract by not paying him for work he'd done and not transferring interests in companies owned by the father to the son as Michael Pickens said his father promised.
T. Boone Pickens filed his own round of counter suits alleging the son was trying to extort him and claimed internet blogposts by his son were defamatory and cost him millions in business.
Terms of the agreement, which was reached late Monday afternoon just as one of the cases was about to go to trial, were not made public.
