DALLAS - Dallas police arrested a suspect for the murder of an 18-year-old teenager.
The case was featured on FOX 4’s weekly profile of unsolved crimes called Trackdown. Now Jeremy Warren is facing charges for Nequacia Jacobs’ murder.
Surveillance video shows the suspect shooting into the window of a second-floor apartment at the Highland Hills Apartments in southeast Oak Cliff in February. Jacobs was killed and her 16-year-old sister was wounded.
Police do not believe the sisters were the intended targets.
Police say a witness who saw the case featured on FOX 4's Trackdown identified Warren as the suspect through a photo-lineup.
Warren is also charged with violating probation for previous cases of robbery and aggravated robbery.
