State Fair of Texas has a new Texas-themed drone show

A parade marched through Fair Park on the Opening Day of the State Fair of Texas.

DALLAS - The weather was perfect on Thursday night for the first-ever drone show at the State Fair of Texas.

The Stars Over Texas show featured more than 3,000 drones over Fair Park.

It included Big Tex and a cowboy holding a lasso.

Fairgoers can catch the show again at 8:25 p.m. Friday night through Sunday.

It lasts about 10 minutes and is produced by Sky Elements, which is based in Coppell.
