Car crash leads to deadly shooting in South Dallas

Dallas police are investigating a deadly shooting in South Dallas late Friday night.

Investigators were called to a shooting scene on South Boulevard just before midnight.

The victim, 34-year-old Johnathan Jones, was taken to the hospital where he died.

The incident at the 7-Eleven started after a clerk refused to sell cigars to an underaged suspects, according to police.

Investigators say that Jones was shot during an argument after the suspect crashed into his car.

Police ask for anyone with information about the shooting to give them a call.
