Small fires, electrical problems close Prosper school

PROSPER, Texas - Classes at a middle school in Prosper were canceled for Wednesday because of electrical problems.

Several small fires were reported at Rogers Middle School after an electrical transformer blew Tuesday night.

No injuries were reported.

Prosper ISD notified families that Rogers Middle School will be closed to ensure the safety of students and staff.

The district has not said if the school will reopen on Thursday.
