Dallas police said one person was killed Monday night in the 7500 block of Chaucer Place.
DALLAS - Dallas police say a person is in custody after a Monday night shooting left a 36-year-old man dead in the Red Bird neighborhood.
Police responded to the 7500 block of Chaucer Place around 11:30 p.m. Monday a found a man dead from a shooting.
The victim was identified as Oliver Moffett.
Police said a suspect was taken into custody at an area hospital. The suspect's name has not yet been released.
Police said the suspect would be named after being booked into jail.
