Shooting leaves man dead in 'quiet' Plano neighborhood, suspect arrested
PLANO, Texas - Police have made an arrest in a shooting that left a man dead at a home in northwest Plano Friday night.
The 911 call came in just before 11:30 p.m. for a shooting at a home in the 6700 block of Roman Court, near Coit Road and Spring Creek Parkway.
Responding officers found a 52-year-old man with an apparent gunshot wound. Officers performed CPR, but he was later pronounced dead at a hospital.
His name is not being released until next of kin has been contacted.
Police have arrested 40-year-old William Holma and charged him with murder in this case.
No further details have been released at this time, but police said they believe this was an isolated incident and there is no further threat to the public.
