Woman shot man in Dallas road rage incident

More updates on the alleged road rage shooting in Oak Cliff Tuesday night.

A woman shot a man during an alleged road rage incident on a Dallas freeway Tuesday night, police said.

Two women in a white sedan and a man in an SUV got into an altercation on an exit ramp off LBJ Freeway at Lancaster Rd. around 10:50 p.m.

Police said the suspect, 44-year-old Latuita Holland, shot at the SUV. The driver made an abrupt stop when the suspect hit the back window.

The man got out of his car, and Holland shot him. He was transported to a nearby hospital and is in critical condition.

Holland was arrested and charged with Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon, police said.

An independent witness is providing information as investigators work to determine if the shooting was in self-defense. The investigation is ongoing.
