Red Oak armed robbery suspects arrested

A 32-year-old San Antonio man charged with the aggravated robbery of a Red Oak CVS Store was apprehended during an unrelated traffic stop.

Red Oak investigators said Jerry Hunt was a passenger in the gray sedan.

The driver, identified as 39-year old Cassandra Kidd, of Dallas, is also charged in connection to the robbery.

Patrol officers pulled over the vehicle around 5 a.m. on Saturday.

The officer was working the traffic stop, when he received an alert about the store robbery, complete with a description of the suspect and the clothing he was wearing.

Investigators said after further investigation officers discovered money from the robbery and a weapon.

They also got confirmation the vehicle was stolen out of Dalworthington Gardens.

Both Hunt and Kidd are charged with aggravated robbery and jailed on a $250,000 bond.
