Protest held on SMU campus to support Black Lives Matter movement
DALLAS - A group of people walked through SMU’s campus Saturday in a demonstration to support the Black Lives Matter movement.
Students carried signs and made t-shirts.
Organizers said they want to help bring justice to victims of police violence, including Breonna Taylor and Elijah McClain.
The march later expanded to areas of Highland Park.
Police were called to help with traffic control.
