What we know:
A pedestrian was hit and killed by a car Wednesday night in Dallas.
The crash happened near the westbound lanes of I-30 at Cockrell Hill Road around 8:20 p.m.
The driver of the car that hit the pedestrian stopped and cooperated with police.
All lanes of Interstate 30 were closed but have since reopened.
The investigation is ongoing.
