North Texas company to provide continuous supply of PPE for the state

The North Texas company has committed to making millions of face masks directly for the state of Texas. And with the help of the National Guard, they hope to make those available as soon as possible.

NORTH RICHLAND HILLS, Texas - A suburban company that makes personal protective gear healthcare and other workers is getting help from the military.

Prestige Ameritech in North Richland Hills makes the products but has lost much of its business to cheaper imports from China over the years.

Members of the National Guard were sent to the plant to step up production.

Their goal is to make 2 million masks per week.
