Missing 16-year-old Irving boy with autism found safe

A missing 16-year-old boy from Irving has been found safe.

Irving police said Israel Trujillo was located Thursday afternoon and has been reunited with his family.

Trujillo was reported missing after he was last seen at the Trinity Park Apartments in Irving around 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday.

Police considered him an endangered missing person because he has autism.

The police department thanked the public for helping to spread the word about his disappearance.

They did not release details about where he was found.
