Frisco third-grader gets awarded full ride to UNT
An elementary school student who just turned 9 years old already has a full ride scholarship to the University of North Texas under his belt.
Frisco’s Prince Nallamothula has dreamed up a number of inventions that is getting him noticed across the nation.
Prince won a national award in the Young Inventor Challenge at the Chicago Toy and Game Fair for his Happy Family smartphone app and another award in the international Paradigm Challenge for his Sneeze Pod, which aids in preventing the spread of germs.
While Prince was being recognized by the city of Frisco for his inventions and accolades, UNT President Neal Smatresk awarded him with a full ride to UNT.
“I just like to showcase all my ideas so anyone can see them and become inspired,” Prince said.
