FRISCO, Texas - Fire crews in Frisco battled a massive blaze that spread to two homes and damaged others nearby.
Frisco Fire tells FOX 4 the original call came in shortly after 4 p.m. Smoke from the fire on Memorial Drive could be seen for miles on Monday.
A vacant house under construction caught fire. The embers from the vacant home spread to a nearby home, quickly turning into a three-alarm fire.
Fire officials say two neighboring homes had water damage and heat damage.
One person had to be treated for smoke inhalation at the scene and released, according to Frisco Fire.
No firefighters were hurt.
A FOX 4 viewer sent photos of the smoke that was visible from Frisco High School.

Crews got the fire under control and are monitoring hot spots.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
