Former Allen ISD superintendent accused of plagiarizing parts of doctoral thesis
The former superintendent of Allen ISD is suspected of plagiarizing parts of his doctoral thesis.
Dr. Lance Hindt was the superintendent in Allen from 2013-2016 and left for Katy ISD, located outside Houston.
Now a high school principal in Georgia says Hindt stole part of his academic paper.
Hidnt had previously agreed to retire as Katy ISD superintendent over allegations that when in middle school he was a bully who nearly drove a classmate to suicide.
With the plagiarism allegations, he could lose his $774,000 severance.
