First responders hurt battling Frisco house fire

Two firefighters and a police officer were injured battling a house fire in Frisco early Thursday morning.

The fire started around 5 a.m. in the 12000 block of Burnt Prairie Lane, which is near Coit Road and Panther Creek Parkway in north Frisco.

It may have been caused by lightning. There was lightning in the area at the time and the flames were shooting through the attic.

The first responders were taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. They are all expected to be okay.

No one in the house was hurt.
