Firefighters save residents, pets in Dallas apartment fire
DALLAS - Several people escaped a burning apartment building in Old East Dallas before dawn Friday.
The fire started at a complex on Fitzhugh Avenue new Ross Avenue.
Two people got out on their own. Two others were rescued and taken to the hospital in an unknown condition,
A neighbor shared cellphone video of firefighters rescuing a dog from a second-floor window.
It’s not clear what caused the fire.
