Family escapes northeast Dallas house fire
Dallas firefighters put out the flames at a house on Meadowknoll Drive.
DALLAS - A family escaped after their northeast Dallas home caught fire overnight.
The two-alarm fire started around 4 a.m. Thursday on Meadowknoll Drive, near Interstate 635 and Forest Lane.
Three adults and a cat got out safely but one woman was treated for smoke inhalation.
Firefighters said they got the fire under control quickly and the home only suffered minor damage.
There's no word yet on what caused the fire.
