LAKELAND, Fla. (FOX 35 WOFL) - The Polk County Sheriff's Office has posted a video onto Twitter of one of their deputies assisting a baby gator in crossing the street.
Deputy Herrera notices the gator trying to cross the street, so he follows him to ensure the gator's safety.
The video was taken on Shepherd Road in Lakeland, Florida. The gator ended up going into an old phosphate pit.
The Polk County Sheriff's Ofifce truly is a full-service law enforcement agency -- even for the gators!
