1 killed in Denton house fire

DENTON, Texas - One person is dead after a fire in Denton on Saturday night.
The Denton Fire Department says they pulled a person from a burning house in the 3300 block of Avon Drive around 6 p.m.
That person has been declared dead, according to the department.
Denton Fire is asking for people to avoid the area.
The person's identity has not been released.
