Grocery Store Hours: Full List
FOX 4 reached out to several area grocery chains to see how they plan to handle the snowy forecast. Here are their responses.
Is Kroger open tomorrow?
Kroger says it currently has no plans to change its hours of operation on Thursday or Friday.
"We are full steam ahead this week, and our stores are ready for shoppers preparing for the change in the weather," a spokesperson told FOX 4.
However, it hasn’t ruled out adjustments or closings just yet. The spokesperson said they will revisit its operation hours if the roadways get too bad.
People are also urged to check their prescription medications and stock up now if needed.
Is Tom Thumb open Thursday?
A spokesperson says DFW Tom Thumb and Albertsons stores will open Thursday at their regular 6 a.m. time. However, stores will close early at 7 p.m.
"We will most likely reopen late on Friday morning at 9 a.m.," a spokesperson said. "After that, we will maintain regular store hours."
Walmart Hours
A Walmart spokesperson says most stores will be open for customers so they can get their essentials ahead of the storm. However, decisions on store closings and hours of operation are made at the individual store level.
The grocery chain has set up a store closure map here that will provide updates if/when stores in your area close.
Is Target Closing?
Target has not announced any closings or adjustments to business hours, but customers can visit their store locator website for any changes.
A spokesperson for Target says their stores are fully stocked and well-equipped for customers in all weather conditions.
