Dallas officer arrested on family violence charges
DALLAS - A Dallas Police Department officer is facing harassment and family violence charges.
Officer Jerry Tames was arrested Tuesday by officers from the department’s public integrity unit.
Police did not release any additional details about the case.
Officer Tames has been on the force for more than four years. He was assigned to the South Central Patrol Division.
He has been placed on administrative leave.
