DALLAS - Two people are dead after a crash that shut down part of the Dallas North Tollway early Saturday morning.
The wreck happened just after 2 a.m. in the northbound lanes, near Forest Lane.
Texas DPS said two cars were involved in a crash and had gotten out of their vehicles.
A BMW then struck the two drivers while they were standing on the roadway.
24-year-old Kendrella Baldwin of Dallas and 28-year-old Nathan Hattox were killed in the crash.
The 18-year-old driver of the third car, Connor Ehinger of Lewisville, was not injured.
Texas DPS says the crash is still under investigation.
No charges have been announced at this time.
The tollway was shut down while crews investigated and cleared the scene, but it reopened about three hours later.
