Dallas Love Field rideshare pickup area moves to more convenient location

Dallas Love Field has a new pickup location for rideshare drivers. It’s a very welcome change for travelers.

Love Field’s pickup area moved from Garage B to the current valet pavilion and Garage C on the terminal’s southeast side.

The change impacts rideshare services such as Uber and Lyft, as well as taxis and limos.

Travelers using app-based services will use the valet pavilion, and anyone using on-demand services like taxis or limos will move to the first level of Garage C.

It’s supposed to make the walk shorter and more convenient.

"This is my first time using this. I’ve been flying to Dallas for about 25 years, and the last two years, when it moved to the previous location, it was awful because you have to walk so far. So when we were told on the flight it had moved a little closer, then we were able to spot the big stickers on the floor. So, the walk here was much closer than where it has been," Kelly Wenzel said.

The change comes after six months of repurposing parking spaces in the valet pavilion and Garage C to create pickup areas.

Love Field said the improvement will give passengers about a six-minute walk to their ride.
